How it works

The tool runs transcription in your own browser. Your selected video and its audio are not uploaded to this site’s server. Model assets may be fetched from public hosting when the tool needs them.

Local Video Text is maintained by an independent developer. It is built for people who want to create a transcript from a local video file without creating an account.

Scope

The current tool is for supported local video files with English speech. It does not accept video links and is not affiliated with TikTok.
